Finding Power in Every Moment Even While Looking Ahead with Hannah Kay Herdlinger

In this episode, Kathy is in conversation with Hannah Kay Herdlinger. Hannah is an in-demand speaker, and advocate, and founder of Thread Talk, a social enterprise created to support domestic violence shelters across the country. As a domestic violence survivor, Hannah Kay speaks to audiences across the country, carrying a message of resilience, passion, and truth.

Hannah’s story is one of strength and harnessing the power of positivity. She describes the beginning of her story as seemingly picture perfect. However, things changed quickly and a new chapter of new life began when she decided to leave her abusive marriage. After working for and being inspired by powerful inspiring women, Hannah had this realization: “I am a powerful woman, too. And I can do what I set my mind out to do.” Today, she is the founder of Thread Talk on a mission to empower women and support victims of domestic violence across the country.

Hannah talks about how she moved past the most difficult times in her life: “Every single day, I woke up and did something to get closer to my goal. And I didn’t even really know what that goal was.”
